Creative Arts

The Creative Arts Department seeks to creatively and effectively communicate the life-changing message of Jesus through music and media. Currently CAD includes 3 areas of focus: worship, drama, and tech.

Worship Team: (Band and vocals) The Mount Hope Church worship team is a tight knit group of people that are honored to serve the church by leading people into an authentic encounter with God through worship. The MHC praise band holds practice Thursdays 6:00 - 8:30pm.

Drama Team: The drama team provides live and video sketches for many of our weekend services and other events. There are always opportunities for those with acting abilities to use their God-give talents in church. (Due to the standard of excellence we have set, we require all perspective drama and worship team members to attend an informal audition.)

Tech Team: The tech team seeks to enhance the worship services and special events through quality technical support. There are opportunities to serve in the following areas: audio, video, lighting, PowerPoint, Easy Worship, graphics, sound. No experience is required to get started: we will train you.

If you are passionate about the Creative Arts and want to contribute your time and talents, please let us know. We’re always looking for volunteers who truly enjoy their work and would love to serve the Lord and Mount Hope Church with their talents.
