At Mount Hope Church everyone is welcomed and loved.  People from all walks of life, different backgrounds and cultures attend our church.  We have one driving purpose; making disciples for Christ. That is our DNA, our heartbeat, the purpose behind everything we do. Mount Hope is a church where you and your family can grow and find other believers who have the same common interests. None of us are perfect, but together we are growing closer to God and to each other. We invite you to join us on this journey.

Frequently asked questions

How should i dress?
At Mount Hope Church you can dress how you are comfortable. You will see some people dressed up but most will be wearing jeans, including the Pastoral Staff.
What is the Music Like?
We have contemporary, modern, praise and worship that lasts about 20 minutes.
What do I do with my baby?
We encourage families to take advantage of our nursery, which is clearly marked in the Family Entrance Hallway. We have well trained, loving nursery staff that take great care of our infants.
Where do my children go?
Upon your arrival follow the signs to the children’s wing and start at our Central Sign-in desk. If it’s your first time, you will meet with one of our wonderful sign-in team members. They will get you checked in, walk you through and ensure you are well take care of.  Children are dropped off and picked up from their classrooms by the parent or legal guardian. Every child is given a name tag that is matched to a parent number. In our Nurseries and Pre-K classrooms, children will learn about God’s love through interactive worship and age appropriate bible stories.  At the elementary level, kids will begin service in small group, then make their way to the Kidstuf theater where they will experience a large group setting. The Kidstuf Theater is where kids are led in a meaningful time of worship and engage in an exciting Bible story. After large group, kids return to their classrooms for Small Group time, where they will see how God's Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last.
What do you offer for my teens?
On Sunday mornings our Middle School Students have their own service in the Student Center. It runs at the same times as our adult services. On Sundays High School students join the adults in the main service. On Wednesday evenings High Schoolers have their own service in the Student Center at 7pm.
Who will be working with my children?
Not only do we have training, policies and procedures in place, but we also do a background check on all volunteers who work with children and students. We want to provide a safe, nurturing environment for your children to grow in.
is there a nursing mothers room?
Yes, it is located within the infant nursery. From there you can nurse your baby in a private, comfortable, atmosphere while listening to the live service in the main auditorium.
How can I get connected in a small group?
Quarterly we hold an event we call "Group Link." This is a time where you can meet the Connect Group (small group) leaders and find out about their groups. There you can get details about times, locations, curriculum and sign up for the group of your choice.
How often do you receive communion?
We generally receive communion on the first Sunday of the month.  Sometimes holidays or special services may cause us to move it to another day of the month.
Do you do water baptism and baby dedications?
Yes, we do child dedications on select Sunday mornings during a service in the Main Auditorium.  We have Baptism events at various times and locations. Pay attention to the announcements for the upcoming dates that you are interested in.
