Alternative Ways to Give 

How do i set up the app?

1. Open up the Mount Hope Church app; to download search “MHCGB” in the Apple App Store. The app is currently only available on the Apple App Store and will be available in the Google Play Store soon. Giving features are still available for non-Apple users (Android, Samsung, LG, etc.)
2. Once you’ve downloaded the app, follow the prompts to select your location and notification settings. 
3. You will be asked,”Which notifications would you like to receive?” Check the following boxes depending on what information you would like to be notified about. Hit next. 
4. Create a profile! This will allow you to see your giving history, bookmarks, audio downloads, and allow you to personalize your app settings. 
5. Enter your phone number; you will be asked to enter a security code to verify your account. Once you have entered the 6-digit security code, click next. 
6. Yay! You’ve created your account!

I use the google play store to download my apps, what do i do?

For users that download their apps from the Google Play Store, please give online via our website in the give section. Click HERE to give. 

Why did we switch to pushpay?

We switched to Pushpay to update our app to make it more user-friendly, easy to navigate, for an updated look, and to make giving secure, safe and easy!

do i give on securegive or pushpay?

We are encouraging users to give through Pushpay because this will be the only online giving platform that will be available at Mount Hope Church after March 31st. Individuals who have set up recurring giving in SecureGive must cancel their recurring giving in SecureGive & move over to Pushpay. 

why should i download the app?

The app is a great way to take Mount Hope Church with you throughout your week! On the app, you can find up to date announcements, weekly messages that you can stream at any time, and find ways to get connected through small groups, volunteering, etc.

​Most importantly, it makes the giving process safe, secure and easy! With two-factor authentication, Pushpay ensures that your giving is safe, by requiring you to create a login OR entering a code that is sent to your phone via text message.

How do i give on the app?

1. Open up the Mount Hope Church app. 
2. Tap the “Give” Button at the bottom of the screen. Look for the heart icon. This button will make you leave the app into your default browser (Safari, Google Chrome, etc.)
3. Once you are in the browser (Safari, Google Chrome, etc.) you can begin the giving process. Before giving, make sure that you are logged into your account. Check the upper right hand corner to ensure you are logged in. 
4. Ready to give? Enter the amount you would like to give, pick the gift type (give one time or set up recurring giving), select the fund (tithes, missions, offerings, Project One, Kids Wing Makeover), and hit next.
5. Add your desired payment method. You can add credit cards, debit cards and bank accounts. 
6. Hit the Give button.​
7. Verify your phone number and enter the security code sent to your phone. Once this step is finished, you’re all done! A receipt will be sent to the email associated with your account. Thanks for your generosity! 
8. If you want to give again, tap the Give Again button. Repeat this process as needed to complete your giving.​

i have recurring giving set up through securegive

Recurring giving set up through SecureGive will no longer be available at the end of March. With steps, you can set up recurring giving in the NEW giving platform, Pushpay. 

1. Go to https://app.securegive.com/MountHope/main/donate/category
2. Sign in to your account by entering a username/phone number and password. Once you are logged in, click on the profile icon in the upper right hand corner. 
3. Click on Recurring Transactions. Select the transaction you want to cancel. 
4. Click Delete to remove the recurring transaction.
